The hunters eventually voyaged to Africa, hunted our big beasts and gave them collective nouns. Sadly, their sites were set on only a few of Africa’s precious creatures, the rest run about in herds and other forms of groups, collectively ‘nameless’ in their beauty.
There is no ruling body or language administrative rule that decides which collective nouns will be official.
